Fine Art
The collection comprises objects from late 15th century to late 20th century. The oldest part of the collection dates back to the end of the 19th century (the collection of Vocel Archaeological Society. The collection was extended in the 1950s by the large fund that was adopted from the Ursuline Convent in Kutná Hora and in the 70s and 80s of the 20th century by the funds of the former local museums in Uhlířské Janovice, Rataje nad Sázavou and Vlastějovice. It has been systematically extended by inheritance, gifts and through purchases of objects relating to Kutná Hora.
The collection is subdivided into several groups marked by distinct signatures:
- VU – paintings, drawings
- VU 3 – devotional graphics
- VU 4 - graphics
- UP – handicraft art sculpture (part of the collection is processed under the signature R in Arts and Crafts)
- LP – folk sculpture
